All of our coaches are highly experienced and committed to support the development and training of every child at every level

Christina Fossheim

Head Coach / Founder

Previously I was a competitive gymnast for many years, first at South Durham G.C. as an Artistic Gymnast, then I switched to Aerobic Gymnastics. I represented Great Britain at World and European Championships, training together with the national team. I became a Senior British Champion 4 times during my career, 2x as an individual and 2x as part of a trio/group. In 2009 I established Champion Aerobic Gymnasts to nurture the development of children to an International level.

Coach - Level 2

Gabija has a passion for coaching and helps all levels of gymnasts across our club.  She previously competed as an Aerobic Gymnast for many years and often represents us as a judge at competitions.  She has a great link with the Lithuanian Gymnastics Federation and sometimes we take gymnasts abroad to compete in the Baltic Cup.

Elena Hamblin

Athlete / Coach - Level 2

Erica Da Silva

Coach - Level 1

Erica previously trained as a rhythmic gymnast and has a passion for ballet and all things artistic.  She is very friendly, approachable and has an inspiring teaching style.  Erica helps all of our gymnasts to improve on their posture, extension and toe point :)

Elena is a very talented athlete and coach at our club.  She has been competing internationally since 2017 and her highest achievement has been reaching the World Championships in 2018/2020.  She has also made it to the top of the podium in national events and has placed 2nd as an individual at the British Championships.

Elena brings a lot of experience, energy and enthusiasm into her coaching and leads our little champions + development groups.  Our gymnasts love working with her :)

Welfare Officer

Debbie is a friendly face at our club and is always on hand to help keep our gymnasts safe and answer any questions parents may have.  She is present for all of our little champions classes and can often be found at the beginning / end of regular training sessions.
