Champion Aerobic Gymnastics Club – Parent Agreement for payment of beginner class fees

In order for your child to keep their place in our beginner classes, fees must be paid before the 1st class of each term. Parents are to ensure payment for their child's fees via the Champion pay online form so that the club receives payment promptly.  The club no longer accepts cash payments for training fees.

  • The club operates a strict no pay no play policy. If payment has not been made your child will be denied access to the session.

  • I have read and understand the above.  I agree to pay my child’s fees in full on or before the 1st session of each term via the Champion pay online form.

Champion Aerobic Gymnastics Club – Parents Code of Conduct

  • Ensure that they and their children abide by club rules

  • Ensure that their children arrive at training on time and that they arrive on time to take them home. It is the responsibility of the parents to make any necessary transport arrangements to get their child to any training sessions. Parents should not put coaches in a difficult position by requesting that they provide transport for their children although on occasion the Club may make arrangements to transport groups of gymnasts together, subject to parental consent.

  • It is the responsibility of the parents to make any necessary transport arrangements to get their child to any training sessions. Parents should not put coaches in a difficult position by requesting that they provide transport for their children although on occasion the Club may make arrangements to transport groups of gymnasts together, subject to parental consent.

  • Be patient with their children’s progress. Gymnasts progress according to their age, ability and stage of maturation. Parents should bear in mind that long-term improvement is the ultimate goal and that later developers often succeed in gymnastics.

  • Leave the coaching to the coaches. Parents should not pressure their children, offer coaching advice or try to change or undermine any goals agreed between the coach and gymnast. It is the coaches’ role to offer constructive advice relating to the gymnasts performance. It is helpful if parents can offer the support and encouragement necessary to help their children feel good about themselves.

  • Re-enforce high standards of behaviour and dress expected in the gym and at competition and help their children to maintain a positive attitude.

  • Make any Fees or payments promptly and on time.

  • Stay informed by checking emails and the club Facebook page. If a response is required, this should be made promptly and on time.

  • Ensure that their children show high levels of attendance and inform a coach in advance if their child will be absent and the reason why.

  • Communicate if their child has an injury prior to the start of the training session.

  • Ensure that quick questions are only asked 10 minutes prior to the start time of a class or during 10 minutes after a class (questions will only be answered at the end if there isn’t a session running directly afterwards). Alternatively parents should email a coach instead.

  • Ensure that they arrange a suitable time to meet with their child’s coach in advance to discuss any concerns in greater detail.
